My big mouth

My big mouth is going to get me in trouble one day. Mostly because I have strong opinions. If I ever go to jail because of it, please know it is my own damn fault.

On that note, I’ve been reading some blogs on ethical couponing. I love couponing, and I’m not allowed to have a big stockpile, so I think the most of any product I’ve bought at one time is 12 (I have 3 computers, 2 coupons per, and it was a coupon that was off 2). It was sauce though and there were tons.

However, shelf-clearing is just obnoxious. There is nothing worse than going in and there are absolutely no products left. But I really hate when there are only two. Then I have to think about whether or not I want to take the last 2 products. Do I REALLY need 2 free pastas? REALLY?

When I first started couponing, I took a class. I don’t suggest it. I learned nothing new, except for that the grocery store near my grandma’s is like 12 cents cheaper. I knew most of the information beforehand, and it wasn’t really worth the $20. The teacher also used a coupon unethically (on my compass, you can decide for yourself). Our store frequently has coupons that are like 5/$50 or 10/$100, and they state right on there that it is after all other offers. She told us that if we handed it over first it would still work. Yeah, it still works, but is it right?

Every time I use one of those coupons, I think about it.
